Easy DIY Envelopes Out of Any Paper!!!

Ever buy something and forget what life was like before it? Okay, that may be a little dramatic, but for me that thing is my envelope punch board!! HONESTLY, I don’t know why it took me so long to buy this little tool. As a frequent snail mail sender, a paper goods & soon-to-be stationery designer, and an overall boujie person who likes to make everything cute and extra, this little contraption has changed my life!

Believe it or not, We R Memory Keepers did not pay me to write such a beaming review of this product. And that’s how you know it’s real!!! I will make a super tiny commission (at no additional cost to you) if you purchase from any of the links in this blog post, but that’s a different story. (;

Why would you need such a thing? Well, I’m glad you asked! I enjoy making my own cards, thus, I need something for them to go into! Also, I’m a HUGE wax seal fan so I love any + all excuses to break out my wax sealing kit (watch a video of it, and you’ll get it). Envelopes are also a fun way to organize paper goods, like recipe cards or scrapbooking materials.

Additionally, even if you don’t have a need for envelopes now, one day you might. I don’t throw out anything, so I always have leftover paper.

Christmas time? Leftover wrapping paper!

Still get the newspaper? Comics!

Don’t want to spend the money on deckled edge handmade paper envelopes? Rip cardstock yourself!

Pro tip: Vellum envelopes. Honestly, these are just plain classy. I’ve never met a vellum envelope I didn’t like. Want to make it even better? Tear those edges. Tear ‘em right up.

I own a small business and I make cutie little envelopes to put a thank you note and my business card in and finish off with a wax seal. Did I make that envelope myself? You bet! Please note you'll probably need a paper-cutter as well when using this. But having a paper-cutter is life saving in itself, so if you don't have one yet you should definitely get on that.

So there you have it. If you’re planning your wedding, an avid snail mail sender, stationery addict, (or D, all of the above,) you need this tool for your craft room, ASAP. You’re welcome.

Happy crafting friends!
